Reconstruction, Modernization, or Technical Retrofitting of GDS, Valve Stations, and Main Pipeline Sections

due to expiration of standard operational service life

The design service life of gas pipelines is specified as not less than 40 years, with valve service life rated at not less than 30 years. Upon expiration of the standard operational lifespan, replacement of pipeline sections and equipment is conducted within capital overhaul programs.

Commissioned by the branch of LLC Volgotransgaz (OJSC Gazprom) in 2003-2004, comprehensive design and survey works were executed for capital overhauls of gas distribution stations:
- GRS "Voskhod" capacity 3 200 m³/h
- GRS "Zarubino" capacity 130 250 m³/h
- GRS "Kozmodemyansk" capacity 25 000 m³/h
- GRS "Marposad" capacity 16 500 m³/h
- GRS "Khlebnikovo" capacity 7 400 m³/h
- GRS "Bolshie Polyany" capacity 11 200 m³/h
- GRS "Sovetsky" capacity 50 000 m³/h
- GRS "Shorshely" capacity 19 400 m³/h
- GRS "Cheboksary CHP-2" capacity 404 000 m³/h
Commissioned by the branch of LLC Mostransgaz (OJSC Gazprom) in 2005, engineering design works were completed for the construction of the automatic gas distribution station AGDS Sukhanovo with a capacity of 20,000 m3/h.
Under state programs for the reconstruction of federal highways M5 Ural, M7 Volga, M9 Baltiya, and the Moscow Central Ring Road (CKAD), dozens of projects were completed for the relocation and protection of main gas pipelines and communication cables.
Within the Federal Target Program 'Development of the Transport System of Russia' and the 2018 FIFA World Cup infrastructure preparation program, LLC Energy Plus acted as General Designer for developing design and estimate documentation for the relocation of main and distribution gas pipelines within the construction zone of the new runway at Sheremetyevo Airport.
