Design of energy centers

One of the priority activities of Energia Plus LLC is the design and construction of energy centers (mini-CHP).

An energy center (mini-CHP) is a single complex of interconnected equipment and structures designed for the production of electrical and thermal energy (cogeneration), which is created on the basis of gas piston or gas turbine units (GPU, GTU).

Cogeneration is recognized as one of the most energy efficient and priority technologies in the world. Due to the joint production of electrical and thermal energy in a cogeneration plant, a significant effect of reducing the cost of generated energy is achieved, fuel consumption and the volume of harmful emissions are significantly reduced, and fuel efficiency is increased. So, when generating 1 kWh of electrical energy through heat recovery from the GPU/GTU, 1-1.2 kW of thermal energy is obtained in the form of hot water or steam. At the same time, the cost of 1 kWh of electrical energy is about 2 rubles, which is 2-3 times lower than the cost of electrical energy received centrally from a grid organization.

Currently, cogeneration is increasingly used in a wide variety of industries, housing and communal services, agriculture, and, most often, as decentralized thermal power plants of various capacities.

Energia Plus LLC, having the relevant competencies, develops design solutions for the construction of energy centers with a capacity of 300 kW to 30 MW.

The company’s specialists develop technical solutions for gas piston or gas turbine power plants individually for each facility, depending on the required loads, the energy consumption schedule of the enterprise and the Customer’s preferences.

Gas piston or gas turbine units of imported and domestic production are used as generating equipment, such as: Jenbacher, Caterpillar, Cummins, FG Wilson, MWM, MTU, Guascor, Tedom A.S., Gazecos (Russia), Capstone, Turbec and others.

Development of project documentation is carried out:

  • for new construction of energy centers;
  • in order to reconstruct existing thermal power facilities.

During the design of energy centers, Energy Plus performs the following types of work:

  • calculation of the need for fuel, thermal and electrical energy;
  • survey of the object and collection of initial data for design;
  • performing engineering surveys;
  • development of design documentation to the extent necessary to obtain a positive expert opinion;
  • technical support during the examination of project documentation in state or non-state examination bodies until a positive conclusion is received;
  • development of working documentation to the extent necessary to perform construction and installation work;
  • coordination of working documentation with all interested organizations;
  • implementation of designer's supervision.

Design and working documentation for the construction of energy centers is developed within the agreed time frame, in accordance with the technical conditions for connection to utility networks and the requirements:

Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 87 of February 16, 2008. “On the composition of sections of project documentation and requirements for their content”;

  • GOST R 21.1101-2013 “Basic requirements for design and working documentation”;
  • PUE “Rules for the construction of electrical installations”;
  • SP 89.13330.2016 “Boiler installations”;

and other current regulatory documentation.

The composition of sections of project documentation is determined by the requirements of RF PP No. 87 dated February 16, 2008. and the Customer’s assignment, including sections:
