Is a Modular Boiler Room a Capital Construction Facility?
It is important to remember that despite being transported as prefabricated modules, a block-modular boiler house is legally classified as a capital construction object requiring building permits following mandatory statutory expert project review. Without these permits, formal commissioning is legally prohibited.
Modular boiler houses are deployed for space heating, domestic hot water, and process steam generation. A single modular plant can supply one or multiple industrial/residential buildings.
Block-modular boiler plants are also widely designated as transportable boiler installations (TKU / BKU).
When is a Modular Boiler House Recommended?
Location of the facility in remote or difficult terrain where erecting a traditional brick/concrete building is impractical due to high logistics costs, scarce local skilled labor, harsh climatic conditions, or absence of local industrial utility infrastructure.
